Unpopular opinion: Steve Wynn made Las Vegas worse, not better… ties to Epstein and multiple sexual misconduct allegations against women, which people gloss over. The city also became far less affordable during the mega-luxury era he pushed. Honestly, Vegas felt more accessible and fun back in the Desert Inn mob days than the Wynn/Encore era.

Wynn/Encore Suite Prices have skyrocketedWe have exclusively stayed at Wynn properties for over a decade. We come to Vegas 4-5x a year. My husband even has Private Access which is an invite only status from Wynn that gives some perks and special room pricing. What we have noticed is the prices for the larger suites we b …

re: Fontainebleau Summer OffersYeah— I can’t imagine someone getting offers as solid as $850 FP and for the casino to want to have a casino host ghost them. FB base rooms are, along with Wynn/Encore, the best base rooms in Vegas IMO. I’m not a tub guy in my day to day life but when I’m in Vegas or Reno/Tahoe, …

re: Best penthouse suites?… the Amex annual fee pay for itself in one visit. Book a Tower Suite and you will be comp upgraded through Amex FHR to a Parlor Suite, which is a great room. For a small cash upgrade on top of that you can get the Salon Suite which is fabulous. Once you get to know the staff ther …

re: What drink do you get comped - exactly?… may not be able to get blue label for example. However, some casinos like Cosmo are more generous with that order even when betting $100. However, if you're betting $300-500 minimum, at certain casinos like Wynn/Encore, you still need approval for Veuve Champagne. I just order ( …

re: Best Vegas hotel for a bachelorette?Wynn/Encore is one of the best choices as it has beautiful pools including Encore Beach Club and their Sunset Pool which is topless. They have a great club in XS plus numerous bars and lounges. The food there is also excellent. Cosmo is in an ideal location and has a popular pool …

re: Best Vegas hotel for a bachelorette?… ewish hardware with good amenities without the Cosmo/Wynn pricetag, but it's not the hippest place. Fontainbleu is the newest overall but for older crowd, I call it the Cosmopolitan for folks 40yrs+ Aria if the price is right, modern with decent restaurants also for a value play.

re: Regarding the Encore renvovated rooms, I stand corrected.Flowers, I am SO with you on this… I love the room. I do wonder if they’re doing the resort rooms in the same configuration with the bed moved to the window side of the room. I’m almost thinking of changing my room from Wynn to Encore for our trip in a week but you’re saying they …

re: Encore Boston Harbor Visit by a Wynn Devotee (August 2026)Nice TR, it’s always great when it’s a winning trip! I’ve always been curious about the Wynn and the harbor there, it’s such an obviously different experience than in LV. I’ve spent many nights at the Wynn/Encore in Vegas, not as many as you, but many and yeah that hallway looks …

re: Advice for Stay in VegasEhh doesn’t make sense to do 2 hotels. Bellagio is a good place to be. Cab to wynn/encore is like 15 dollars. Can walk/tram almost everywhere else. Do a lunch or dinner at Amaya at cosmo. For steak Bavettes at Park MGM is great.

re: Advice for Stay in VegasI know you said it’s far but Fontainebleau is incredible. I can’t stay anywhere else. The uber is no big deal to head to other locations on the strip. Wynn/encore as runner up.

re: Vegas FHR: Cosmopolitan V Wynn - ReviewI 100% agree about the North Strip, I spend 90% of my time at Wynn/Encore, Resorts World, Venetian/Palazzo, and Fontainebleau so Cosmo's location is a liability for me at this point.

re: Bachelorette - Suite or Individual Rooms?… or an easily walkable distance for maximum simplicity. Fontainebleau and Cosmo both work great for this, and so can Resorts World, Wynn/Encore, and Venetian/Palazzo. Most of the time I'd avoid a suite and just get 2-3 basic rooms booked together with a request of 2 adjoining and …

re: Ellis Island, Excalibur, or Circus-Circus?… Park, Aria and MGM (which are all easy and close by). Circus Circus is my personal clown nightmare hell, but I hadn’t stopped by there in years. North Strip is a weird mix of high brow (Wynn/Encore and Fontainebleau) and lowbrow (Aztec Inn and the Strat ; yes I know those are di …

re: Vegas 5-Day SaleCirca has their $400 all-in deal through the 5-day sale link, but not on their website. Surprisingly the Wynn/Encore has some great cheap dates (near thanksgiving and christmas) that include 2 buffet passes ($180 value).

re: Fontainebleau vs Cosmopolitan for a first-timerGreat options! These are two of my fave places in Vegas. I've stayed at both many times, so here's my take on the pros and cons. **Cosmo** This was one of the first places I stayed in Vegas so it will always have a special place in my heart. Pros: * Terrace rooms - If a terrace r …

re: Fontainebleau vs Cosmopolitan for a first-timerFB is by far a nicer hotel with nicer/newer rooms! Cosmo has the better location and livelier casino. But FB is my favorite hotel now next to the Wynn/Encore. Go to Mother Wolf at FB if you have a chance. Fantastic food!

re: Best Hotel for Single in 50s… alibration and you can always do a dinner / drinks night at Cosmo to try it out, there is good food over there. It is also a bit of luck of the draw to see what events (conferences, concerts etc) are in town as that influences the mix. There's nothing wrong with the other great r …

re: Best Hotel for Single in 50s… would be my guess for most consistently on the older side. I’d choose Circa which is a 21+ building and is on Fremont as opposed to the strip (my personal preference). Circa is especially good if yall are sports fans as they have the best sports book and pool to watch. Have fun!

re: Sipping SeptemberThere’s something going on at t-mobile again, but there’s a DJ and I can totally hear all the loud music in the room. It’s worse then when you’re staying at Cosmo with Marquee music or Wynn/Encore with the encore beach club so I’m pretty annoyed
