re: Trying to keep updated with Table Minimums (Report here!)… so far. I wandered back up to Caesars area today, harrahs had a $10 craps table that was packed. re: Trying to keep updated with Table Minimums (Report here!)New York New York and El Cortez are the two I know of - if there aren’t more currently it’s only a matter of time. Great fun for players, and due to most people playing nowhere near basic strategy the game has a huge house advantage.

re: Trying to keep updated with Table Minimums (Report here!)Nyny had 15 briefly the few days I was there. 25 all the other times. I never seen more than 1 table open. Crews were friendly but a few miss pay situations. Tables don’t open till noon on weekdays open all times on weekend. For these reasons I wouldn’t stay here again.

As I said earlier, Mandalay seems to be the best MGM property at this time since I was able to get BJ 3:2 @ 25$ on Sunday night.

re: Looking for live entertainment/bands at casino bars?Hate to say it, but I went to the NYNY piano bar on Friday. One of the guys was a great piano player, but the vocals were more shouting than singing. The other guy playing looked incredibly and visibly bored. And so impossibly loud that it was painful to listen.

re: Best mid priced hotels?… here is a fight or big concern in town. From there midpoint I think NYNY, Paris , MGM grand are solid on the strip options. Are MGM properties becoming VP wasteland?I was in Las Vegas on Labor Day week and spent 3 nights at Mandalay Bay.
