Vegas Signals is a public roll-up of the Las Vegas hospitality, gaming and resort business: the news, the numbers, the boards, the jobs, and the calendar, updated by scheduled collectors. Headlines link to their sources and are never rewritten. Claude reads public posts and stories for sentiment, promotion flags and desk. | What it covers | Las Vegas hospitality, gaming and resort industry monitor: news, per-property sentiment, promotions, tourism numbers, jobs and key dates. |
| How often it updates | Scheduled collectors update the site, and every page's footer carries its build date. Monthly tourism and gaming figures follow the LVCVA and Nevada Gaming Control Board release cycle. |
News carries the last 21 days of coverage from local and trade outlets, sorted into desks, with every headline linked to its source. Board Pulse shows what regulars post on r/vegas, r/LasVegas, VegasMessageBoard and Vegas Fanatics, each post with its sentiment label. Sentiment carries the year-to-date score for every tracked property, month by month, and the method behind it.
Resorts lists the 56 tracked properties under the Strip, Off-Strip and Downtown, with 30-day board mentions, sentiment, news mentions and promotion signals. Each property has its own page with those figures, its 2026 sentiment trend, its news and its board posts; 19 operators have portfolio pages. Explore draws every tracked property as line art colored by its 30-day board sentiment.
Promotions & Offers covers the offers and promotions the boards are talking about from the last 30 days: postings by property and offer category, named offers, offers announced in the press, and the deals people are hunting. Every number opens the postings behind it.
Economy carries tourism, gaming win, airport traffic and operator results, each figure linked to where it was published. Jobs lists open roles from operator career boards with public APIs, beside BLS labor series for the Las Vegas metro. The Calendar collects dated events: earnings, Gaming Control Board and Commission meetings, citywide conventions, entertainment, marquee sports, openings and the monthly data releases.
Each desk page follows one part of the business: Slot Floor, Conventions, Sports, Entertainment, Dining, Pools & Dayclubs, Nightlife, Attractions.
The Weekly report is published each week, dated by the week's end, with back issues. Analysis holds the monthly issues, and the 2026 year to date analysis regenerates monthly. Special reports have their own pages: Posters on the Las Vegas boards fault price most at Aria and Bellagio and rooms most at Luxor and Excalibur; Nevada sportsbooks are taking their first football season after Kalshi's August 12 geofence deadline while three prediction-market petitions wait at the Supreme Court; Wynn and MGM have put AI to work with guests; Caesars, Red Rock and Boyd describe it as still ahead; The chief executives of Caesars, MGM and Wynn on the state of Las Vegas.
Vegas Signals is a public roll-up of the Las Vegas hospitality, gaming and resort business: the news, the numbers, the boards, the jobs, and the calendar, updated by scheduled collectors. As of Oct 16, 2026 it tracks 56 resort and casino properties on the Strip, off the Strip and downtown.

Claude reads each public board and social post and judges each property it names. A post it has yet to read is labeled by Jev, a decision model, where Jev is at least 80 percent sure, and by a keyword lexicon over the title and preview otherwise. Comments in recent reddit and Bluesky threads are judged by Claude or the lexicon and capped per thread. A property's score is positive minus negative, divided by scored posts, times 100, over the last 30 days. A score appears only where at least 3 scored posts exist; below that the site shows a dash and the count.
Claude, Jev and the lexicon are graded against a hand-labeled set of 220 real posts. Tested one post at a time, Claude matched the labels on 93 percent. Jev was at least 80 percent sure on 187 of the posts and matched the labels on 96 percent of those. The lexicon labels about four in five correctly, and when it calls a post positive or negative it is right roughly three times in four. The About page lists the limits: sample sizes are small, sarcasm fools it, and a single viral thread can swing a week.
No. A board post is flagged when Claude finds an offer in it, such as free play, waived resort fees, promo codes, status matches and mailers; posts it has yet to read and news headlines are flagged by matching offer language. The About page says to confirm any offer on the property's own site.
Claude reads posts, comments and news items for sentiment, offers, relevance and desk. Jev, a decision model, labels the sentiment of board posts Claude has yet to read where it is at least 80 percent sure, and keyword rules cover the rest. Claude also writes the weekly report's headline, standfirst, lede and desk paragraphs, the citywide promotions trends and the property Intel boxes, and an OpenAI model reviews each against its sources, with a security review for secrets, private data and unsupported allegations. The weekly report and the trends publish when the reviews find no factual error, material omission, misleading statement, broken link, secret, private data or unsupported allegation, and report at most two medium findings, such as an overstatement or a dropped caveat; findings about wording or house style do not count. Anything else waits for the editor's approval, as every Intel box does. Headlines are never rewritten, and the monthly and year-to-date analysis is template text around the datastore's numbers.
Every page's footer carries the date it was built; this page was built Oct 16, 2026. Tourism and gaming figures update as LVCVA and the Nevada Gaming Control Board release each month, so the Economy page can trail by several weeks; as of this build its latest tourism month is August 2026. Each figure on the Economy page links to where it was published.
The Jobs page indexes open roles from operator career boards with public APIs: 492 as of Oct 16, 2026. MGM and Wynn career boards sit behind bot protection and are not indexed; the Jobs page links to them and to other employers' career sites.
Marked words are the terms the keyword lexicon counts. Each entry links to the original post. Media entries show the tone of coverage and never enter a board score.
